About Us

I’m Debbie Griffin, a lifelong animal lover and caretaker who’s had the good fortune to be around various creatures my entire life. 

I’m grateful to say my family has always had furry members including a few horses, many dogs, several cats, a goat, and a rabbit, as well as feathered friends and hobby farm residents. It's fair to say I've been pet sitting for several decades! 

A past, part-time job walking dogs and a move to Statesville in 2019 inspired me to start Cozy Creature Pet Sitting, llc. I'm insured and bonded and have years of experience giving animal comfort. 

Besides being an animal lover, I'm a writer. I earned a bachelor’s degree in communication then made a living as a technical writer and news journalist before becoming a freelance writer. 

I am happy to share any other background information people may want. You're welcome to call, email, or text anytime. We  can also talk more during a free meet-n-greet we request with you and your animals.
